Dr. Soheila Arefi, an expert in Obstetrics & Gynecology with an Infertility Fellowship, is a valued member of the infertility team at Avicenna Fertility Center. Dr. Arefi earned her medical degree in 1992 from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, and graduated in 1996 with a specialization in obstetrics, gynecology, and infertility from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She completed her Infertility Fellowship in London in 2000 and received advanced laparoscopy training the same year.

Dr. Arefi’s professional experience includes teaching, administrative, and clinical roles in infertility treatment, recurrent miscarriage, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy. She has authored two books, four book chapters, and over 60 articles in national and international journals, and has participated in over 20 research projects at various institutions.

Her services include treatment for recurrent miscarriage and unsuccessful pregnancies, advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, in vitro fertilization (IVF), cesarean sections, and more. Dr. Arefi conducts her diagnostic procedures and surgeries at Erfan and Bahman Hospitals’ specialized infertility treatment centers in Tehran.
