Before the dental implant procedure, a thorough examination of the patient’s oral health is conducted, including X-rays and scans to assess the bone density and structure. If necessary, any existing damaged teeth or infected tissues are removed.

After the implant has bonded with the bone, an abutment is attached to the implant, which serves as a connector for the replacement tooth. Finally, a custom-made crown is placed on the abutment, providing a natural-looking and functional tooth.

I recommend that all future clients of the Iran Health agency ask for Soheila because she is simply the best. Not only does she take all the time to answer your questions before you leave, but she comes to pick you up at the airport, takes you to restaurants, goes shopping with you. Because I was more comfortable being taken care of in my own room, Soheila arranged this for me, so a super friendly nurse came to take care of me every morning in my room at the hotel. Soheila stayed by my side in the hospital and also took me to my room, after discharge. She also helps with your choices of hotels and relaxation. Once home, she sends regular messages to ask how I am doing. Do not hesitate, choose Soheila at Iran Health clinic.

I came to iran for implant surgery and cat eye surgery and I was quite scared but thank god I had Soheila! I went 3 times total and all the times I went with Soheila cause I had such a good experience! she helped me every step of the way took me to the hospital and spoke to nurses and doctors (which don’t speak English so thank god I had her) and booked the hotel at a much cheaper rate than what I would have paid if booked it on my own! She helped me save so much money with a discount from the doctor too! And overall she took care of me after surgery and made sure I had all the medication I needed she even took me around tehran when I was feeling better (for free as a friend?!) like she’s genuinely such a nice and kind person I loved iran… but it was because of her! During Tooth Implants

What happens during a Tooth Implant?

Tooth implant procedure in Iran, like any other surgical treatment, starts with local anesthesia, the patient will not feel any pain during the dental implant surgery.

Then, according to the selected treatment and bone guarantee, the implant is inserted into the jawbone. Then the jawbone starts to osseointegration and generating bone-forming cells at the implant surface. The healing process usually takes 3 to 4 months, then the crown and tooth parts are made and placed on the base.

After osseointegration, basic implants a resilient ground for selective treatment. For the convenience of the patient, until the original prosthesis is made, a temporary prosthesis implant is designed to facilitate chewing. Implant molding is one of the most sensitive and precise parts of the implant prosthesis, and the patient must carefully follow all the instructions of the dentist.

In some cases, radiography is needed to detect bone width (CBCT). These images show the relationship between the inferior jaw, chin nerve, and maxillary sinus as well as the angle of the bone. Note that the results of radiography may not be adequate and clinical observations should be made and supplemental radiographs should be performed during surgery if necessary.

Is it Necessary to do a Bone graft Before a Dental Implant in Iran?

If your jawbone is not dense enough or too soft, you may need a bone graft before having dental implant surgery in Iran. Bone grafting is because in the process of chewing, your mouth puts a lot of pressure on your bone, and if the bone fails to support the implant, the tooth implant in Iran will probably fail. Bone grafts can provide a stronger foundation for implants.

How long does the Dental Implant process take?

Dental implants are generally a multi-step process. However, a dental implant session is relatively short and most people can implant their teeth in one day.

Dental implants in Iran can be done in two ways, which are known as single-stage implants and two-stage implants.

Each of these is selected and implemented for each person according to the dentist’s discretion. As a brief explanation, it can be said that in single-stage implants, as the name implies, all steps including surgery and sutures are performed in one stage, and no further sessions are needed. But in another method for surgery and suturing, two sessions are needed to complete the treatment process. In this method, it usually takes three to six months from the implant base being placed inside the jawbone until you have a new tooth

When is the Best age for having a Tooth Implant in Iran?

It is possible to implant implants in women as young as 15 and in men as young as 18. In order to have a dental implant in Iran, it is better to wait until the age of 18 to get a full-face skeleton, otherwise, it may look shorter in the future due to jaw and dental implant growth.

In some cases, for example, if multiple dental implants are implanted in one area and a prosthesis is placed over the implants, the resistance of the bridge prevents skeletal growth in the area, this causes the patient to have a deformity but after age 18 there is no restriction and dental implants can be done at any age.

At a younger age, dental implants can be implanted for a single tooth, but the dental implant must be replaced after the age of 18 to fit the size of the adjacent teeth. If implants are planted with different designs, diameters, and angles, it is better to attach them with an instant laminate and laminate them together because they can withstand stresses such as chewing.

Doctor, I will likely need a full set of dental implants, which I understand can be quite expensive. Does my current dental insurance policy cover any part of the implant procedure costs? If so, what specific criteria must be met for me to qualify for this coverage? I’m trying to determine what portion of costs I will need to pay out-of-pocket. A brief explanation of coverage applicability would be very helpful. Thanks!
